Are you a Fascist?
A very dear long time friend wrote me an email today and exclaimed proudly that they were jumping in feet first, clothes and all to help out the DNC in the next election cycle. They then proceeded to ask me if I was ‘so far to the right that I considered myself a Fascist’. After pondering that question carefully for a while, I sat down and wrote them back the shortest answer I could come up with on short notice.
Herein follows my complete reply to them, verbatim, word for word.

I would have never mentioned politics because I know your views are 180 degrees opposite of mine. But since you mentioned it, here goes. I apologize in advance if this sounds scathing, our country is in dire straights right now and it’s the ‘Progressive’ Socialists who have put us there.
Fascist???? Your kidding right? Well, maybe not if your buying into all the crap the DNC spews. (not that the GOP is perfect by any means, you should see some of the stuff I say to them! LOL)
I am a libertarian with a small ‘l’ as opposed to a member of the Libertarian Party with a large ‘L’. I normally vote for Independents or Libertarians in local elections where they stand a chance of winning, and often do. I vote for GOP otherwise because in spite of their short comings, they do FAR more to support free enterprise and personal freedoms in this country than the DNC has ever done.
I’ve been a libertarian since 1974 when I read Milton Friedman, Ayn Rand, Karl Marx and a bunch of other books. The path was clear to me. There is NO freedom without financial freedom and the right to own your own property. The Constitution of the US was laid out correctly, it doesn’t need to be changed. It’s been bastardized and abused for at least 70 years now and it’s high time we put our government back in order. The DNC is NOT the answer, nor is the current GOP for that matter.
I’m 180 degrees away from socialism, communism and leftism. I despise it, hate it, loath it with all my heart.
Yes, of course, I believe in taking care of our fellow humans, but socialism WILL NOT accomplish that. Show me ONE, just ONE socialist country where the POOR have the same standard of living they do here in America. Socialism means equal misery for everybody.
Have you EVER seen a socialist country where people jumped fences and swam rivers to get IN? Hell no. Ever stop and wonder why Haitians risk their lives paddling a boat made of inner tubes to get here or Cubans build a boat out of a ’54 Chevy pickup to try to get here? Socialism does NOT create jobs, Capitalism DOES. See those ‘wetbacks’ mowing the yards of the rich folks in town? They came here because NOBODY will pay them to mow a yard in Mexico! Capitalist can’t make any money there due to taxes and excess regulations. HOW can a country with the natural resources and hard working people Mexico has starve to death? Easy, they kill capitalism there.
I believe in the smallest Federal government possible and the greatest amount of personal freedom possible. I believe in freedom OF religion and freedom FROM religion. I’m not religious at all, but I don’t care if you are. Drugs should be decriminalized not legalized just so the government can control them for more taxes, enough of the ‘war on drugs’, it’s a waste. Gays, Lesbians, Trans-gendered have every right in the world to the same kind of civil unions a man and woman does, it’s a legal contract for God’s sake, just don’t call it ‘marriage’, it freaks people out.
I believe that the Constitution of this country is the best foundation ever created for society, it does NOT need to be changed, just adhered to.
I have every intention of doing all I can to see our country return to a full on Constitutional government as it was intended to be and that means complete political defeat of the left wing in this country and at least half of the GOP. The TEA party is the next controlling party in America. Get ready for it.
A fascist is someone who wants complete government control of all businesses and every aspect of our lives…that would be the Democrats and their illegitimate puppet president Barack Hussien Obama. For the record, NO, I do NOT believe he is a ‘natural born citizen’ eligible to be our President. Another breach of the Constitution by our lawmakers.
Back in the 1920′s the so called Progressive movement in this country knew damn good and well they would never be able to sell their socialist dogma to Americans and get anyone elected so they began to deliberately distort the meaning of two very important political terms ‘liberal’ and ‘fascist’. They did not want to be known as socialist or communist (which they were and still are) and so people like Franklin D. Roosevelt et. al. started spoon feeding bullshit to everyone they could. That’s how the progressive movement really took root. It’s well documented. Go look up the definition of ‘classical liberal’ on Wikipedia, that’s what a liberal WAS. No more.

Every last fascist in history has been a left wing socialist/communist/marxist (they are ALL the same for all intents and purposes). Fascist are Stateist of the first order. They believe the ‘State’ (i.e. Fed Govt.) should control everything. Just do some reading before you buy into all the bs being pushed by the DNC. Most of them are caught up in some romantic notion of a socialist utopia, they have complete disregard, in fact a loathing, for what has really made this world a better place to live and they have VERY LITTLE knowledge of this nations political history, especially as it relates to their own party.

Grenada – Reagan – Republican
Persian Gulf War – Bush – Republican
Bosnia and Herzegovina – Clinton – Democrat
War on Terror – Bush – Republican
DEMOCRATS were the people who were in favor of slavery and strongly OPPOSED to integration. It doesn’t bother them a damn bit that Sen. Robert Byrd was a certified member of the KKK. This is exactly WHY the south was a Democrat strong hold during the 40s and 50s.
The SINGLE largest reason that poor blacks stay poor is because of the damned welfare system. They’d all be much better off if they were taught to be productive members of society.
Just remember this, Capitalists employee people, Socialists do NOT. Every last thing you have in this country was brought to you by Capitalism, NOT socialism. Socialism can only survive by sucking on the teat of Capitalism. Socialism collapses into Communist slavery as soon as the Capitalist STOP producing due to the ever increasing burden of taxation. Tax a Capitalist too much and he’ll close up shop. That’s when Atlas Shrugs. Just like he is now. Get ready for more of the same, possibly much more.
Cuba is a glorious shining example of Marxist Socialism in action. It was booming big time economically until the damned Marxist revolution, then all of the Capitalist alive left. Nearly every country in the WORLD trades with Cuba except the US and they STILL can’t make money in a beautiful island in paradise…why, Marxism. The DEMOCRATS say Cuba is starving because the mean old Republicans won’t re-open trade agreements with them. No, Virginia, they are starving because of Marxism.
Did you use toilet paper today? A capitalist made that.
Ever take antibiotics? Capitalism at work.
Like being able to buy a pound of bacon without having to kill the pig first? Capitalism.
Use a telephone lately? Yep, capitalism.
Hybrid Cars? you got it….Solar panels…..wind mills?
Shoes? Capitalism. Soap? Diapers, baby food, coat hangers, cars, bicycles….get the picture? NONE ABSOLUTELY NONE of those items are products of SOCIALISM. Zero, Nada!
You want a damn good example of what ‘Progressive Politics’ can do? Just look at the difference in California and Texas. California is BROKE in spite of MASSIVE FEDERAL AID….Texas…..finished the year with several $Billion in the bank.
The state in the union that’s been hit LEAST by the economic down turn? Texas. WHY? All the tech jobs that USED to be in California have moved here over the past 20 years BECAUSE TAXES ARE LOWER. Their workers enjoy a much higher standard of living on LESS pay because…..you go it, no state income tax and much lower property taxes.
